Easter Seafood

This Good Friday just past we enjoyed a lovely seafood lunch in the Autumn sun. Nothing too complicated, just fresh local seafood prepared and cooked simply.

I got up early and went to the local Fish Co-op in Wickham and got some of that mornings catch of Stockton Bight Prawns - caught right in our sea. They were beautiful and sweet.

We also cooked up some scallops, pan frying them in butter, onions and garlic. They were just delicious, and i wish we''d had more!

Finally we cooked some tempura whiting fillets. The tempura was great and light, perfect for lunch. I served them with a chilli and lime dressing and some white wine to drink. Supurb.

  1. You really had a feast, though I'm sure your pocket book was several pounds lighter when you left the fish market :-). I hope you have a great day. Blessings...Mary

  2. Katy, I just realized I didn't answer your question. Go to pinterest website and look for the spot where they display their icons. Pick the icon you want to display and then add the corresponding code it to your blog.
